This men’s Rolex 1601 Datejust certified chronometer has the 14k bezel, hour markers and hands and the correct Tritium dial.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1966.

This watch is all in good order. The dial is very clean for a watch over 50 years old, but has not been replaced with a later Luminova dial. The twinlock crown screws down nicely, and the 1570 automatic movement (non quick set) is working well and keeping time to within a minute a day. The original bracelet has been replaced for a leather strap, which tones the watch down some. The case has been lightly polished at some point and the back of the lugs do show marks where the bracelet has rubbed. The case has also had a professional plug repair done between the bottom lug at some point. The watch wears very well and is not expensive for a 1960’s Rolex.
