This rectangular Omega dress watch has a curved case, in a similar style to either a 1920’s art deco watch or a modern Franck Muller, and is very original.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the original movement we can accurately date this watch to being in 1966.
CONDITION
This is a relatively rare Omega – we first saw one a few years ago, thought it was too expensive (it wasn’t) and regretted not buying it immediately. It has taken quite a time to find another. The watch design, with the curved stainless steel case, is very distinctive and not dissimilar to the Franck Muller Casablanca models released in the 1990’s, or indeed the 1920’s art deco styles. This is a simple dress watch, with just the two hands, and we have matched this with a lizard effect leather strap, complete with chrome deployant clasp. The dial is original but does have dirt and damage. The crown is original, and signed with the Omega symbol. The Omega 620 manual wind movement is keeping good time.
This watch will be supplied with our Certificate of Authenticity.
