This mid sized 1966 Omega is in nice clean condition, complete with hand winding Omega calibre 620 movement and new Hirsch leather strap.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the 17 jewel watch movement we can accurately date this watch to being produced in 1966.
CONDITION
The watch is in very clean condition, winding and working well via the original Omega crown. The case is 20 micron gold plated, with just the very tips of the lugs showing wear, and the case back is stainless steel. the model number, 111.046, is stamped on the inside of the case back. The dial is very clean, as the enlarged photos show, and the hands and markers show no signs of corrosion. Compared to modern watches this is quite small for men, but not everyone wants to wear a watch the size of a clock every day!
