An unassuming and slender men’s Longines rectangular watch, with manual wind movement.  Model reference 7686.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1966.

CONDITION

If you want to wear a nice watch but don’t want others to know then this is an excellent choice.  Longines made some of their nicest dress watches in the 1950’s and 1960’s, and this is proof.  The case is quite small by modern standards, but being square with wide lugs is to does wear larger than the dimensions suggest.  There is a dent in the case back, but it doesn’t touch the movement.  At just 6.5mm thin, this puts lots of modern watches to shame.  Inside is Longines calibre 428, a manual wind 17 jewel movement that is lovely to interact with and is keeping good time.  The dial is clean with tiny marks, and cross hairs on the dial too.    The strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour if preferred.  This watch is signed on the dial, case, movement, crown and buckle.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
