A petite 1966 ladies cocktail watch from the respected brand Certina, complete with in house movement and new strap.

From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1966.

Certina are a brand better known on mainland Europe than in the UK, and we are doing what we can to raise their profile.  There watches of this period used their own, in house movements mainly and not all brands had the skills to make their own movements.  Inside this example is their calibre 13-21, a seventeen jewel manual wind movement with micro adjustment, which is running well.  The case is ten micron gold plated, and we have fitted a new, correct 9 mm leather strap with gold tone buckle to compliment the case and dial.  Looking with a loupe, or with the enlarged photographs, the dial has a small scratch near 10, but this is difficult to spot with the naked eye.  The hands, painted black, give a nice contrast against the dial, and the crown is the original signed one.

This watch will be supplied with a presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
