This men’s Longines was made in 1966 and sold in 1967, and features a stunning blue dial with manual wind in house calibre 370 movement.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the movement we know the watch was made in 1966.  The engraving on the case back shows it was given on Christmas 1967 to Tommy Hilley.

CONDITION

This unusual watch is set in a 10k, gold filled case.  Gold filled means it is at least 5% of the total case weight and is much thicker than gold plate, so should not wear through.  Sadly the dial has a scratch at 4, but the deep lapis blue is still a treat with the applied gold hour markers and logo really standing out.  We have fitted a new leather strap with gold tone buckle to suit.  The acrylic glass is scratch and chip free.
