Still on the original strap, it would be hard to find a 1965 Rotary in better condition. Model reference 8580
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the London Hallmark on the inside of the case back we can accurately date this watch to being assayed in 1965.
CONDITION
The gold case is stamped SD, for Sylvain Dreyfuss, who was one of the family that founded Rotary in 1895. The two piece case does not have to be very thick, as it houses a fine and thin Peseux 330 movement. These are a grade above the standard, and were used by many other watch makers including Breitling. The ivory dial with Arabic numerals is clean, and the hands are straight and true. The case shows nothing but light wear, and has drilled lugs to make strap changing easier. The case has never been engraved. The leather strap is original, stamped Rotary, and could be swapped for a new strap if preferred. (We would include the original strap too)
This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
