A 1965 ladies solid gold Swiss watch for under one hundred pounds! This Everite will have been retailed by H. Samuel, as Everite were their ‘house’ brand watches.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the worn London hallmark on the caseback we can date this watch to 1965. The hallmark is rubbed mainly on the date letter, but we believe it represents 1965.
The watch is on a clean and tight expanding gold plated bracelet that might be a later replacement. A leather strap could be fitted to this watch if required. The dial is nice and clean, even on the massively enlarged photographs. The case is free from dents but the straight lugs are a little bent. The manual wind FEF 6662 movement is running well and has recently been oiled. A new acrylic crystal has been fitted to make sure the watch is shown art it’s very best. We would include a generic presentation box with this watch.
Approximately 19.4 mm wide including the unsigned crown, 7.9 mm thick. Takes an 8 mm strap. The bracelet will fit a maximum wrist size of approximately 150 mm.
