A ladies 9kt gold cased 1965 Accurist wrist watch, with a manual wind 21 jewel movement and a very clean dial.

We can date this to 1965 from the London assay office hallmarks on this inside of the watch case.
CONDITION
Accurist watches of this time are vastly underrated – a Swiss 21 jewel ladies movement is quite rare, and a good indication of quality. The dial is clean and the case shows no serious marks. The petite dimensions are typical of the era. The solid gold case does not appear to have ever been inscribed, and the movement is running well. The two hand, time only display helps on smaller watches as the hands are more legible.
SIZE
Approximately 16.9 mm wide including the crown, 7.1 mm thick. Takes a 6 mm strap. It could also suit a gold or gold plated bracelet.
