This 1964 Omega has the manual wind Cal. 600 in house movement in a stainless steel case.  A very elegant dress watch that will never date.  Model reference 131.012

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

We can date this perfectly to being made in 1964 by the serial number on the original movement.  This model was launched in 1962, as shown here on Omega’s own vintage watch website.

CONDITION

The case has hardly any signs of wear. The crown is an Omega one, but is slightly dented – this does not affect the operation and winding this movement is a pleasure.  The silver sunburst dial is in good condition but does have light spotting that can only really been seen with a loupe in real life.  The minute hand is slightly bent if you look closely.  The new black leather strap has a later Omega buckle on it.  The in house calibre 600 movement has 17 jewels and is adjusted to two positions, and also features swan neck fine adjustment.  All this is hidden behind the steel case back, and would put a smile on any watchmakers face.  Overall, this is a very wearable vintage hand winding Omega.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
