A stainless steel Certina Waterking with an in house movement, this shows that high quality Swiss watches can still be found for reasonable money.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1964.

CONDITION

If we can find a waterproof, stainless steel Swiss watch with an in house movement from the 1960’s in good condition we always buy it.  Why?  Because the waterproof case often protects the dial from both water and smoke damage, and a lot of people smoked in the 1960’s.  The stainless steel case won’t wear through like chrome plate can, so it will stay looking good for longer – this watch is 50+ years old already and still looks great.  The Certina 25-36 manual wind movement is beautifully finished and running superbly – this movement has 17 jewels, and micro adjustment, all protected by the screw down case back.  The strap is new.

This watch will be supplied with our Certificate of Authenticity.
