A subtle watch with sub seconds, this 1964 Bulova is set in a rectangular gold plated case with a hand winding mechanical movement.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this perfectly to being made in 1964 by the case back code that Bulova used.
CONDITION
The case has hardly any signs of loss of the 10 micron gold plate, just tiny amounts on the corners. There are no dinks, and the hands and markers are all good. There is a slight discolouration on the dial around 3, which the video shows to its worst, and the crown doesn’t sit flush to case as shown in the photos. The crystal is perfect. The watch was designed for men, but the size is now considered unisex.
