This Longines would have originally been sold in America – it is signed Longines-Wittnauer inside the 14k gold case.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1963.
CONDITION
This is a clean men’s Longines dress watch that has not been engraved on the 14k gold case. The bezel has a light cross hatch finish to it, and this is in very good order. Inside you will find Longines’ calibre 370, a seventeen jewel manual wind movement with some of the rubies set in chantons – not a thing you will see now on watches anywhere near this price. The silver dial is original with just slight patina, and has unusual applied hour markers with numbers covering the even hours and stick indices on the odd numbers. Wittnauer were the US importers for both Longines and Vacheron Constantin, hence the stamp inside the case. The leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour or material if preferred. The watch is signed on the dial, case, movement and crown.
This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.

From 1st September 2021 we will be planting a tree for every watch we sell, working with the International Tree Foundation (Est 1922) to make this business positive on carbon. By buying anything pre owned you are effectively reusing what already exists, but this takes it further and makes us feel good.
