This manual wind men’s Omega watch comes on the very desirable Beads of Rice bracelet. Model reference 14391-62
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1962.
CONDITION
The watch itself is very clean, both in design and condition. The all stainless steel case is slim, and a great size for a dress watch. Inside is an Omega caliber 269 movement that is a pleasure to wind and runs well. This lug style can also be worn with a leather strap quite easily. The acrylic glass is new. However the beads of rice bracelet is one of the most desirable features of already a nice watch. These are so comfortable to wear, and always look great. This one has the 570 hollow end links and the clasp is stamped Omega and No. 12, made in the USA (so the watch was probably sent to the US market, and fitted with the bracelet there to avoid import duties on complete watches). The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath.
