This Majex 9k gold men’s watch is in very good overall condition, and is fitted with manual wind movement and a new leather strap.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the Edinburgh hallmark on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being assayed in 1961.
CONDITION
The dial is very clean, with just a small dot near 4. We have taken one photo without the bezel and crystal to show how nice the dial is without reflections getting in the way. The hands are good, with the lume still in place on the hour and minute hand, although the sweep seconds hand has lost some of the red paint. The acrylic crystal has been polished to remove any small scratches, and the leather strap is new. The FHF 73 manual wind movement is running nicely, and has the incabloc shock protection system fitted. It doesn’t look as if the case back has ever had an inscription.
This watch will be supplied with our Certificate of Authenticity.
