A petite ladies Certina watch made in 1961. This watch features a hand winding mechanical movement and a very nice ribbon effect bracelet.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1961.
CONDITION
The 20 micron gold plated case and bracelet shows little or no significant wear to the plating, save for the very ends of the clasp. The bracelet is the stand out feature of this watch, very flexible and eye catching. The clasp has a sprung extending piece to ensure the watch is comfortable, and the bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath.. The in house manual wind Certina 13-20 movement is keeping nice time and sets and winds well. The small dial does has some staining but the golden hands and hour markers are still clear. The acrylic glass does have a small scratch but that is very hard to see when the watch is on the wrist.
