CONDITION
Garrard have a very impressive history, dating back to 1735. As the first official crown jewellers, they were responsible for altering the state crown to fit Queen Elizabeth II for her coronation, and also designed and made Princess Diana’s engagement ring (now worn by Kate Middleton). The watch movements were not made in house, but commissioned and fitted into cases designed by Garrard. The case back is stamped for WHW, a maker we have not been able to identify, but the movement is a reliable ETA calibre 2412. This is a seventeen jewel manual wind movement which is working well. The bracelet is quite long but could not be extended easily so please do measure your wrist carefully. The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath, and the only downside is some slight kinking to the bracelet and one link slightly out of line above 10. One advantage of this Ladies Garrard is the exclusivity – you are highly unlikely to see another.
This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.

From 1st September 2021 we will be planting a tree for every watch we sell, working with the International Tree Foundation (Est 1922) to make this business positive on carbon. By buying anything pre owned you are effectively reusing what already exists, but this takes it further and makes us feel good.
