HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1960.
CONDITION
Most people will notice the deep, starburst dial before they experience anything else about this watch. But they likely won’t get to wind the silky smooth movement. With 23 jewels, some of which are set into Citizen’s Para Shock anti shock protection, and three adjustments this was as good as Citizen watches got. Everything is working nicely, and it is a pleasure to work and wind. The case is all stainless steel, and the Citizen Deluxe marking on the case back have worn but are still visible. The leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour or material if preferred. The watch is signed on the dial, case and movement.
