From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1958.
CONDITION
This watch is good but not absolutely perfect. On the downside the very edges of the dial are showing some patina, but we believe the upsides counter this. The stainless steel case is both unpolished and not engraved, and does have very nice lugs. The centre of the dial is very good, as are the hands and the applied indices. The crown still has the Omega logo showing, and looks to be original to the watch. The calibre 520 movement is beautiful to see, and these copper finished movements are also one of the nicest winding movements you will find. There is also swan neck fine adjustment for good timekeeping, something only found on very expensive modern watches. The crystal is very good, and the leather strap is new. For a 1958 Omega this is quite an attractive package.
This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
