HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the stamped paperwork that came with this watch we can accurately date this watch to being sold in November 1957.
CONDITION
The 21 jewel ETA 2375 movement is winding and setting well – this can be hand wound or left to the automatic mechanism. The dial does have some even patina, but is by no means bad. The prominent lugs look a nice design, but they all show wear to the gold plating, as does the case. However that is why we can offer the watch for a very accessible price. We have fitted a new Condor calf leather strap too. Given the lug to lug length, and the depth, the watch does wear larger than the diameter suggests.
