Fitted with the superb 12.68z Longines manual winding movement, this watch is complete with original box and uncompleted papers.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1957. Sadly the papers are not filled in, so we don’t know when it was sold.
The watch is in fantastic condition, better than the enlarged photos show. The case has small details, like the shape of the lugs where they meet the case, or the just slightly recessed (original) crown. The dial is clean, as are the dagger hands and all the hour markers. We have fitted a new leather strap and refitted the scratched and worn signed Longines buckle – we can’t be sure if this is original to the watch or not but we will include it in case. The tailored to this watch box has just light marks, and the papers are very good if unstamped. The movement is running nicely and is a joy to wind.
This watch will be supplied with the original box, papers and our Certificate of Authenticity.
