This 1956 Ladies watch, by Swiss company Longines, features their in house L13.15 hand wound movement and is very clean.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the watch movement we can accurately date this watch to being produced in 1956.
CONDITION
One of the reasons that this watch looks so nice, 60 years on, is because of the high quality materials used during manufacture. A solid steel case, rather than chromed, stands up to the test of time far better. There is no corrosion on the hands, which means they are likely to be either made from gold, or gold plated. The crown is still stamped with the Longines logo. We have fitted a new leather strap with gilt fittings to match the dial.
