Pobeda was a leading producer of USSR watches, and this 1955 Pobeda men’s watch has central seconds and Arabic numerals on the dial.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this to being made in the first three months of 1955 from the serial number on the watch movement.
CONDITION
The movement is very clean and ticks away strongly. The chromed case has some scratch marks on the side but no real dinks. The dial has an even patina that has turned the white dial almost salmon pink and not in a bad way. We will fit your choice of black or brown leather strap. This watch is larger than the other Pobeda’s we have from the same period, and is the only one with the centre seconds movement.
