In a Denisteel case and with the lovely calibre 266 movement, this linen dial Omega will fit into any collection.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1954.

CONDITION

Denisteel was a trade mark registered by reknown case makers Denisson in 1939, when the more generalised term stainless steel wasn’t as widely used as it is today.  The case would have been made in the UK for Omega, possibly to reduce import duties that normally required extra money on completed watches.  The movement was a direct update on the Omega 30T1 calibre that powered the military watches that Omega supplied the British MoD with during WW2, and these are a pleasure to interact with.  Winding it daily will be something you should look forward to.  The linen dial is very clean, and has applied markers alternating between numbers and stick indicators.  The dagger hands are excellent too.  The leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour if preferred.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
