A larger than average manual wind 1954 Omega, in very nice condition.  Model reference 2750-2

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1954.

CONDITION

The calibre 266 movement is a good looking thing, and it is all working correctly.  It is always nice to find the period information for a watch, and you can see on Omega’s own website here this 2750 model.  What that tells us is that the original crown would have been signed with the Omega logo Ω, and this watch has a replacement.  But it also shows the case, with the drilled lugs, is all correct.  The size is large for the time, so suits a modern wrist more, and if anything it wears larger than the dimensions suggest, due to the slender bezel.  The model they feature has a different dial variation, with applied markers whereas our watch has the markers countersunk to the dial.  The leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour if preferred.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
