HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the watch movement we can accurately date this watch to 1949.
CONDITION
The unpolished stainless steel case is all in good shape, save for light scratches. The dial has some marks but not many considering the age – please look closely at the enlarged photos and HD video to get a true representation. The hands have been painted at some time, and when they were refitted the hour hand doesn’t quite line up. This is something we have had fixed. We have fitted a new acrylic crystal and cleaned the Speidel expanding bracelet in our ultrasonic bath to make the watch more presentable. You may prefer to fit a leather or perlon strap.
SIZE
Approximately 33.5mm wide including the crown, 11.3mm thick. Takes an 15mm strap. The bracelet will fit a maximum wrist size of approximately 200mm.
