This 9k pre-war Laco, stamped foreign as made in Germany wasn’t the most popular sales pitch in 1937, has a decorated art deco gold case.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the London import mark on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being assayed and imported in 1937.
CONDITION
The dial on this watch is clean, but does have a few scratches. The lume looks to be original in both the hands and the numbers, and all three hands are blued. The 9k hinged case is very good, with clean bevels on the lugs and decorated sides. This would have been a mans watch, but could be worn by anyone today. The Laco 550 movement is a good time keeper and the glass has no chips or scratches. The leather strap is new and has gold coloured buckle and strap retainers.
This watch will be supplied with our Certificate of Authenticity.
