With the retailers name on the dial as well as Waltham, this appeals especially to anyone from Cirencester. Model reference 1908.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the movement we know it was made in 1921. But the case, a Dennison Special. is hallmarked for 1924. The two components could not have been put together before 1924.
CONDITION
Cirencester was an important Roman settlement, but this history is much newer. Leonard W. Jones jewellers much have been a good customer of Waltham, as the dial on this pocket watch is co branded and that is not common. The case is all in good shape, and the nicely decorated Grade 610 manual winding movement is all working well. The blued spade hands look great, and the crystal is chip and scratch free. The dial is crack free and very clean. In all this is a very decent pocket watch that will work well in any collection.
This watch will be supplied with our basic presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.

From 1st September 2021 we will be planting a tree for every watch we sell, working with the International Tree Foundation (Est 1922) to make this business positive on carbon. By buying anything pre owned you are effectively reusing what already exists, but this takes it further and makes us feel good.
