I’ve been watching you site for at least a year waiting for the right ’74 to show up. I’d been looking mainly for an Omega/Longines dress watch but I’m a big fan of vintage Seiko as well. When I saw this watch pop up on your site–with its unusual movement and in absolutely mint condition–I knew this was the one. Sure, EL-370s can be had on eBay for less, but you found a gem that was worth every penny! And after 43-years of being who knows where, barely being worn, and therefore probably never being serviced, I’m happy to see that it’s running strongly and fairly accurate.

An 1982 Sekonda Polaris, in remarkably good condition, and with so much going on with the dial, bracelet and case that you will not tire of looking at it. We even found the watch in an advert from 1982, and this would have been towards the top end of the range for Sekonda back then.![]()

When you compare the Bulova with Gerald Genta's drawings from the original Royal Oak, it is clear that Bulova copied the design (The AP was launched in 1972, and the Bulova is from 1979). While we have had one of these before, we do find these Bulova tend to have short bracelet's and we turn them down. This one has a good bracelet, has just been serviced, is in great cosmetic condition (particularly the dial), and has even been upgraded to sapphire crystal. And it is priced to be less than any on C24.![]()

A textured dial isn't the cheapest way to produce a watch, but neither is an in house manual wind movement with micro adjustment. But back #Certinartina were an independent company, free to spend more on the details. This ladies watch is on the original full length bracelet too.![]()
