A bi-metal, Zenith Espada men’s quartz watch, complete with box and papers from 1983.  Model number 19-1350-116.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the supplied original paperwork (consisting of warranty card and dealer network) we can accurately date this watch to being sold in August 1983.

CONDITION

The watch has been worn, but is far from worn out.  The ETA based Zenith Movado 11.6 quartz movement is working perfectly, and has quick set date to make life easier.  The plating on the crown is close to perfect, but the bezel and the latter part of the strap (the part that tucks underneath the bracelet when closed) does show some wear.  The mineral glass has some scratches, and the dial has some marks if you look closely.  The box is like new, and it is rare to find box and papers for Zenith watches of this period.  Unlike a lot of watches from this time, you can wear this on a leather strap if preferred.  Like all watches we sell, we have removed the bracelet and cleaned it in our ultrasonic bath to shake out any dirt, so this Espada model is ready to enjoy.
