This amazing Zeno Tennis watch has a mechanical movement to tell the time, but combined with four sub dials and pushers to keep your tennis score!
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the AS 1977-4 17 jewel hand winding movement production dates we can estimate the date this watch to being made circa 1977. The AS1977 series movements were made between 1972 and 1978, and the ‘-4’ designation was the final round of improvements.
The watch is new old stock (NOS), meaning it has never been sold nor worn other than for our photographs. As such the watch is in immaculate condition, so let’s describe how it works. At twelve you have a indicator to see whose serve it is, the top right pusher adds the score of the game and the bottom right pusher sets the number of games on the sub dial nearest to it. The same happens on the left hand side in mirror form. The video below gives you a better insight to this. Zeno have been making watches since 1922.
This watch will be supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity.
