A ladies Corvette, by Avia watch with unusual and attractive flower shaped crystal in great condition.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From looking at the styling and production dates of the manual wind movement, we estimate the watch was made circa 1977. This is not easy to date, but the condition warrants its place on our site.
CONDITION
The watch is in near mint condition, with the only slight negative being some dirt on the dial. This is very difficult to see on the tigers eye pattern dial, and harder to photograph. There appears to be no wear to the gold plating on the clasp, which is usually the first place the show any such marks. We have matched the watch with a box we already had, from a watch of the same period.
