This manual wind Sorna watch has a simple time only display and a great brushed dial and case to make the watch appeal.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the production dates of the Ronda 1013 17 jewel movement combined with the fact that Sorna was first registered as a brand in May 1973, we think this watch was made circa 1974. No more accurate dating evidence is currently known to us for this brand, better known for their enormous chronographs.
(NOTE – We previously had this listed as c1970 before we discovered when Sorna was registered)
The watch is in good condition with a sharp case. The case top has a brushed starburst effect and the sides are polished. The watch is a size that can be worn comfortably by either a man or a woman. The crown has lose its chrome plating but is easy to wind and set. The watch is fitted with a used leather strap in good condition, but if you would prefer a brand new strap then we can fit one of those for £5.
