Landeron 248 movement vintage chronograph, in a gold plated case.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this to circa 1959 from the styling combined with the movement production dates. We can not be more accurate than this.
CONDITION
The case is in good shape for a watch this old, with very little brassing even around the lugs on the gold plate. Two small marks on the lug near 5. The dial is very clear but does have a couple of small marks. Fitted to to a new leather strap. Chronograph functions perfectly, resetting perfectly to 12. 37.8mm wide including the crown, 13.0mm thick. Takes a 20mm strap.
