A men’s Seiko, model number 7009-8029, which has the push quick set day calendar.  Stainless steel case and bracelet.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the case back, combined with the earlier version of the 7009 movement, we can accurately date this watch to being made in December 1985.

CONDITION

The silver dial is very clean, and is matched with silver lumed hands that still have a small amount of glow remaining.  Each lume plot on the hour markers is still in place too.  The case has a few small knocks and scratches to show its 30+ years, but nothing major.  The Seiko bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath, but as this model has conventional lugs this watch could also be worn with a leather strap.  The acyrlic glass has been polished to remove most marks.  The quickset calendar is working well, with the day wheel in English only.

This watch will be supplied with our Certificate of Authenticity.
