With box and papers, this Timex LCD watch is a rare survivor and very inexpensive.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this to being sold in December 1978 from the supplied sales paperwork that came with the watch.
CONDITION
Very good condition and quite a rare survivor – a lot of these have been sat in the back of drawers and had the battery leak over the years, ruining the circuits. The watch works fully, even the light (although these were never very bright). The pusher on the right sticks slightly, but that might be to help set the time – a quick press frees the pusher every time. We are not sure if this is a design feature or not! Supplied on the blue leather NATO strap with a new Swiss Renata 393 battery fitted.
This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box, papers and our Certificate of Authenticity.

27.0mm wide, 10.3mm thick. Takes a 12mm strap. The strap will fit a maximum wrist size of 160mm
