HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this to 1976 from the serial number on the watch dial.
These watches were never issued to the military, but the dial that features lumed hands and markers and 24 hour markers is a common military feature. This example has been worn but we have cleaned it up and it is quite presentable. It has a new leather strap and the worst marks are on the crown. In common with all military watches these are small compared to a modern watch, so can be worn by men, women and children.
32.9mm wide including the crown, 9.6mm thick. Takes a 16mm strap.
