Earlier calibre 613 movement

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

We can date this to 1972 from the serial number on the watch movement.

CONDITION

Wonderful.  This watch has been in the same family since new, and the stainless steel case houses the earlier calibre 613 movement.  This would have been one of the last ones made before production switched to the cheaper to make 1030 calibre.  The acrylic glass has the logo emblem in the centre, and the buckle also has the logo but this may be a later replacement.  The crown is also original, and the photos show the condition better than we could describe.

37.6mm wide including the signed crown, 10.1mm thick. Takes an 18mm strap.
